Delete Your Account

You can delete your District AI account yourself at any time, and you do not need the mobile app installed to do it. Deletion is permanent: we do not keep a recoverable copy, and there is no undo.

Distronode Corporation • legal@distronode.com

Delete it yourself

  1. Sign in at distronode.com/login.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Billing and scroll to the Danger Zone.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm with your password. We ask for the password again on purpose, so that an unattended session cannot destroy an account.
  4. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, your account has no password to re-enter. Set one first from Forgot? and then delete, or use the email route below: we will not delete an account without a second confirmation, because the deletion cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in

Email legal@distronode.com from the address on the account.

Say that you want the account deleted. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting, and we complete it within 30 days, as required by GDPR and PIPEDA. This is also the route to use if you have already removed the app, or if you lost access to the address and need us to verify another way.

What gets deleted

Deletion runs across every region we operate in, not just the one you signed up in. Most of it happens immediately and permanently; the two items noted below complete within 30 days:

What is not deleted, and why

We would rather state these plainly than imply an absolute that is not true.

What is not deleted, and why
What we keepWhy we keep it
Encrypted database backups, for up to about eight weeks.Backups expire on a fixed schedule and are not restored to serve a request. They exist so that a regional failure cannot destroy a business's records, and they age out on their own.
Data belonging to a workspace you did not own.If you were a member of a business's workspace, its contacts and call records belong to that business rather than to you, so deleting your account removes your access and your membership but not their records. Ask the workspace owner, or contact us and we will route it.
Support conversations raised by someone else that mention your address.Where your address appears inside a third party's support request, we do not edit their record automatically: doing so would alter someone else's data. Those matches are flagged for a person to review, and handled as part of the same 30-day window.

Deleting social account data instead

If what you want removed is the data tied to a Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account you connected, that is a separate process with its own status page, and it does not delete your District AI account.
